Team expectations for next year ! (Napoli)

Last year many were impressed by Napoli's performances and their eventual finish of 2nd in the league.  Napoli exited the Coppa Italia and the Europa League early and in poor circumstances but this led to great form in the league. The team from Naples and propelled themselves into the title challenge. After challenging Juventus for a little while but the lack in quality showed as Juventus pulled away but Napoli still managed to finish excellently in 2nd.

With Mazzari moving to Inter Milan, Napoli replaced him with an arguably better coach in the form of Benitez. Despite this I do not expect even him to be able to keep Napoli a title contending team. This is because of the departure of Cavani. Last year he was the man that led Napoli to second he was the man that they could rely on and he was the man that was able to turn a game round single handedly. Napoli have bought in Higuain but I just do not think he is good enough to fill in the boots of Cavani and now in my opinion Napoli do not have that threat up front anymore. Despite this they still have a talisman in Hamsik and I am sure if they can keep Hamsik and Benitez can get the most out of the team then Napoli will face no problems.
