Player Ratings 2013/14

Gigi Buffon

I feel Buffon had a great season this year captaining Juve to a second successive Serie A title and Juve's 31st. Buffon was excellent in Serie A only conceding 26 goals and due to his performances he gained his place up against the top names of the game again. However in the Champions league this year he didn't perform to the standard he was playing at in the Serie A.

Rating = 8.5 / 10

Leonardo Bonucci

Bonucci had a great season helping the defence keep the amazing record they had. As part of an amazing back three he deserved his place after facing competition for it from Martin Caceres and he also deserved his appearances in the Italian national squad.

Rating = 9 / 10

Andrea Barzagli

Andrea had an amazing season last year along with his defending companions. Playing incredibly defensively he also experienced a more attacking experience going forward in a more attacking Juventus side. I think this year was Barzagli best year at Juve.

Rating = 9/10

Giorgio Chiellini

Giorgio again had another great season at Juve completing the back three it what was a great campaign defensively. Although experiencing a few injuries throughout the season he proved himself when he was able to play and he also experienced a more attacking role as he pushed forward from the back three.

Rating = 9/10

Andrea Pirlo

His performances this year were outstanding and just proved that age is not a problem when it comes to class. The most gifted technical player in the game came into the season of a great Euro's campaign where he proved his class and the season that followed was of the exact quality.

Rating = 9.5 / 10

Paul Pogba

This French wonder kid which we signed in the summer has been the biggest surprise of the season for me. Not only his physical game but also the skill he possesses is unreal and not to mention his strikes. For a young man like him his strike is unreal. This really is a player to look out for in the future.

Rating = 9.5 / 10

Arturo Vidal

The aggressive and determined Chilean this season typified the football of Juventus. Not only did he impress in his defensive roles this season but also showed that he can play further up the field as shown as he was Juventus' leading goalscorer and their best assist man.

Rating = 10 / 10

Stephan Lichtsteiner

Stephan had a good season and proved that he is good going forward and back while playing at right wing back. He scored a few goals this season and has impressed however he received a lot of bad attention in the Champions League due to the physical and aggressive way he plays the game.

Rating = 8.5 / 10

Kwadwo Asamoah

Unfortunately he missed much of the season through injury but when he did play he showed his class and his skill. This year he had to play as a wing back so his defensive skills were put to test but he passed that test and well his attacking potential was already known to everyone.

Rating = 8 / 10

Claudio Marchisio

Marchisio as usual every season performs brilliant and this season was no exception. He excelled at the beginning of the season playing central midfield however as the season progressed he became more attacking playing behind the striker. He did very there at helped Juve score more goals as they lacked to           throughout the season.

Rating = 9 / 10

Mirko Vucinic

Vucinic slightly let me down this year. We needed a prolific goalscorer and quite frankly we didn't with Vidal being our top goalscorer. He frequently missed many chances and didn't score enough goals as a striker should such as Mario Balotelli and Edinson Cavani. To be honest with Tevez and Llorente next year Vucinic won't really get a look into the starting xi.

Rating = 6.5 / 10
